Letter: Sky's coverage of Premier League Football and other minority interests

Sir: So Margaret Maxwell thinks it is 'much better to have football and its supporters corralled into a minority niche' in broadcasting.

Leaving aside the point that half the population does not constitute a a minority, how much better (and cheaper) would it be to do the same for the 20 per cent who are interested in ballet, opera and serious drama?

That really would serve the interests of public broadcasting.
