Letter: Rural drugs

I WRITE in connection with 'Drugs: a new kind of rural pursuit' (6 March). As the headteacher of the only secondary school in Wetherby, I protest about the following: 'Parents in the affluent village of Wetherby, West Yorkshire, were stunned recently when an officer uncovered a large number of Ecstacy users in one school.'

This suggests that my school is involved, and I can state with confidence that this is not the case. We do not consider ourselves immune from the problem but would prefer not to be implicated in incorrect information.
