Sir: "Britain has one of the highest rates in Europe for unwanted pregnancies among teenage girls." "Britain is the only country in the world which provides the Pill free of charge." (report, 31 December.)
Whatever the reasons for our unwanted pregnancy rate, it is evident that they do not include inability or unwillingness of people to pay for contraceptives.
