'MOUNTING a house-hunting expedition with only pounds 65,000 in your pocket . . .' begins your property feature ('Bargains leave the basement', Review, 6 June). I'm sure I'm not the only less affluent reader wondering why you give space to such items. Of greater interest would be the decline in the number of council houses, or how hard it is to get suitable rented property. Some of us would even like to read a positive account of high interest rates and falling house prices, since this increases our savings and puts property in our reach.
