Manhunt after armed robbers hit New York jewellery store for $4m
Still no arrests after the heist midday on Sunday
Robbers who reportedly stole $4m worth of goods from a New York jewellery store are yet to be found two days after the heist.
Three armed men held employees at gun-point at midday on Sunday, before making off with valuables from Avianne & Co. in the city's Diamond District.
The shop's clientele includes rappers Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.
The robbers posed as customers and were buzzed in the Midtown Manhattan store.
Footage from security cameras shows workers being threatened with guns and lying on the floor as the thieves clean out display cases.
Police hope the perpetrators are recognised as the robbers did not wear masks and their faces are clearly visible in the footage.
Between watches, rings, necklaces and other ornaments, the group manage to accrue a staggering $4m according to WABC-TV sources.
According to the news report, no arrests had been made by Monday afternoon.
