Preview...

It’s a trial by fire for new manager Paul Clement, as he welcomes an in-form Arsenal side to the Liberty Stadium, in his first official game in charge of the club.

After a run of 12 away games without defeat, Arsenal come into this game without a win in their last three away games, seeing come-back defeats at Manchester City and Everton during December.

It’s a big game for…

Alexis Sanchez. The last two weeks have seen transfer speculation abound about the futures of Arsenal’s top players, along with Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil.

Sanchez sported a dejected figure when Arsenal drew 3-3 with Bournemouth a week ago, and his team will be looking to add to the 10 goals they’ve scored thus far on their travels to the Liberty Stadium.

Best stat…

The history don’t favour the swans in this one; Swansea have lost 12 of the 14 Premier League games in which they have conceded the first goal (W1 D1), meanwhile, no team in the PL has scored the opening goal more than Arsenal (14).

Remember when…

Mesut Ozil let rip with a thunderous volley at the near post, beating a helping Lukasz Fabianski and putting Arsenal joint top of the table by the end of the match.

Player to watch…

Olivier Giroud. After an outrageous scorpion kick goal against Crystal Palace a week ago, the Frenchman has started the last eight games for Arsenal, going on to score 10 goals.

Past three meetings…

Arsenal 3 (Walcott 2, Ozil) Swansea 2 (Sigurdsson, Baston) Emirates Stadium, October 2016.

Arsenal 1 (Campbell) Swansea 2 (Routledge, Williams) Emirates Stadium, March 2016.

Swansea 0 Arsenal 3 (Giroud, Koscielny, Campbell) Liberty Stadium, October 2015

Welcome to The Independent's live coverage of today's Premier League 3pm kick-offs, with 12 teams in action on a busy day in the top flight.

Arsenal top the bill as they look to return to the top four, having dropped down to fifth following the 3-3 draw with Bournemouth in their last league outing. They travel to Swansea to take on a side struggling down in 19th and trying to get to grips with a third manager this season in Paul Clement.

Burnley will look to continue their impressive form at Turf Morr when they host Southampton, and Sean Dyche's side can jump ahead of the Saints and move into the top half with a victory, while Southampton will hope to close the gap on seventh-placed Everton.,

Basement side Hull City know they will remain in the Premier league bottom three even if they beat Bournemouth when they take on the Cherries at the KCOM Stadium, with new manager Marco Silva getting his first taste of Premier League football since replacing Mike Phelan.

Sunderland will look to move out of the relegation zone when they face Stoke City, having mounted something of a U-turn under David Moyes which has been spearheaded by striker Jermain Defoe. West Ham will look to put a difficult week behind them when they meet Crystal Palace, but they will have to do so without key midfielder Dimitri Payet after he was banished from the first team after refusing to play for the club.

Finally, what is sure to be an emotional fixture at Vicarage Road sees Watford take on Middlesbrough, with the Hornets set to pay tribute to their greatest manager in Graham Taylor after he died on Thursday following a heart attack. Current manager Walter Mazzarri is under pressure to turn around their poor form of late, with just seven points separating them from the drop zone.

KICK-OFF: After a minute's applause for Graham Taylor at every Premier League ground - none more emotional than the one at Vicarage Road - this afternoon's six games are up and underway.

2 mins: PENALTY! HULL 0 BOURNEMOUTH 0:

It didn't take long for Hull to shoot themselves in the foot this week. With just over a minute on the clock, Harry Maguire dived in on Scottish livewire Ryan Fraser, and Martin Atkinson had no hesitation in pointing to the spot. After hitting Hull for six at Dean Court back in October, Bournemouth have a chance to bag another early in the return fixture.
