Good evening and welcome to the Independent's live coverage of tonight's Champions League action. AS Monaco welcome Tottenham to the Stade Louis II while Leicester entertain Club Brugge at the King Power Stadium,

A win for Claudio Ranieri's Foxes will see them qualify for the last-16 of the competition but it's a very different story for Spurs. Currently sat third in Group E, the north London club are in desperate need of a win tonight. Anything else and their hopes of qualification will be all but over. Stay tuned as we bring you all the build-up ahead of tonight's two European clashes (7.45pm KO).

In the other side of Tottenham's group, Bayer Leverkusen’s clash with CSKA Moscow is already underway and the Germans currently lead by just the one goal. Should they win tonight and Spurs fail to beat Monaco, that will be side’s Champions League campaign well and truly finished with one game to spare.

It’s plain-sailing for Leicester, however. The Foxes need just the one point from tonight’s clash as they face off against a side who haven’t picked up a single point from the group stages.

Nonetheless, Leicester head into tonight’s game on the back of a disappointing 2-1 defeat at Vicarage Road on Saturday. The side have now lost twice as many games, six, as they did in last season's title-winning campaign - but Riyad Mahrez for one doesn't seem fazed.

"I don't think we feel the pressure, we just have to perform to win the game,” he said. “Whether it be Champions League or Premier League, it's the same.

"There is no special game for me because all the games are important and I enjoy all the games.

Mahrez ahead of tonight's clash

"We are winning the games in the Champions League. Obviously when we win there are some players who come on to the team and score goals. Islam scores goals and we defend very well with zero goals conceded, so when we start to win in the Premier League as well everyone will be better."

After his maiden Premier League start and goal on Saturday, Harry Winks returns to Mauricio Pochettino's side to now make his first Champions League start. What a couple of days it's been for the 20-year-old! Elsewhere in the team, Kyle Walker drops to the bench to make way for Kieran Trippier while Kevin Wimmer comes in for Jan Vertonghen. Son Heung-Min and Dele Alli also return.

Just the one change to the side that lost to Watford. Daniel Amartey makes way for veteran Andy King. Jamie Vardy and Shinji Okazaki once again lead the front line while Riyad Mahrez and Marc Albrighton return to the wings.

Interestingly, Vardy and Mahrez have only made one pass to each other since the end of September. The pair have looked far from their best in the league, with both struggling to carve up defences as they did last season. Mahrez in particular has struggled under the intense pressure he's faced against sides who have often stuck more than one player on him in a bid to keep the Algerian quiet. As for Vardy, the 29-year-old simply hasn't rediscovered the sort of form which saw him net 24 goals throughout the 2015/16 season.
