Atletico Madrid put one foot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League with a 2-0 victory over Juventus.
Second-half goals by Uruguayan centre-backs Jose Gimenez and Diego Godin handed Atletico a crucial advantage.
And a clean sheet at the other end, keeping Cristiano Ronaldo and co relatively quiet, meant they are in a commanding position as Juve return to Turin without an away goal.
The game was a frosty one with plenty of drama, not least the disallowed goal by VAR which saw Alvaro Morata's header controversially chalked off, but it is Atletico who deservedly lead the tie.
