Two in court over fatal stabbing
Two men will appear in court today charged with murdering a man found stabbed to death in a street, police said.
The 43-year-old victim was pronounced dead in Winchcombe Road, Carshalton, Surrey, at around 9.15pm on Monday despite being treated by paramedics.
William Scott, 54, and David Howard, 42, who both listed as living in the road, will appear at Sutton Magistrates Court.
Police said they were awaiting formal identification of the dead man, but next of kin had been told.
