Three 13-year-old boys are among several youths charged for taking part in loyalist riots in Belfast. The teens were arrested during disturbances on Friday and Saturday against new restrictions on flying the Union Flag.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said that while a protest at City Hall on Saturday passed by largely without incident, youths were involved in pockets of trouble in east Belfast and Newtownabbey. Eight people were arrested in total.
