Police are continuing to search 100 sites in Bradford for the bodies of two murdered women.

Stephen Griffiths, 40, has been charged with the murders of Suzanne Blamires, 36, Susan Rushworth, 43, and Shelley Armitage, 31, who were working as prostitutes. Only Ms Blamires' remains have been found.

Yesterday police divers searched and removed items from the River Aire, while officers used wheelbarrows to remove material from the area around Mr Griffiths' flat. All, including a suitcase of tools which was pulled from the river, will be examined. A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said 40 detectives were involved in the case.

Mr Griffiths will appear again before Bradford Crown Court on 7 June via video link from Wakefield Prison.
