I'm A Celebrity 2017 line-up confirmed

As Boris Johnson future as Secretary of State remains in the balance, his father — Stanley — has ventured to Australia to participate in this year’s I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

The former Conservative MEP has been photographed at Brisbane airport where multiple rumoured contestants have been spotted over the last few day days.

Despite the official line-up not yet being officially announced, Stanley apparently told The Mirror he’s “excited” to be competing.

Various reports detail that ITV bosses are hoping the older Johnson talks politics around the campfire, perhaps even commenting on his son’s current situation.

Boris Johnson has come under fire after mistakingly telling a Commons committee that Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, who has been detained in an Iranian jail for 18 months, had been training journalists rather than visiting family. The MP has since apologised for the comments.

Other celebrities spotted at Brisbane’s airport include The Saturdays' singer Vanessa White, Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo, boxer Amir Khan, Corrie star Jennie McAlpine, and Eastenders actor Jamie Lomas. The show starts on ITV this Sunday.
