Barack Obama tells a spooky story on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee: 'Donald Trump could be president'
The President showed up in costume as 'what happens when young people vote'
President Obama spent his Halloween on Samantha Bee's late-night show Full Frontal and got into the spirit by telling spooky stories about Donald Trump.
He visited the show as part of Bee's "annual Halloween presidential interview" (the news comedy series began this year) in costume as "what happens when young people vote." He was more than happy to partake in a witty two-way which saw the host get into character as a "millennial voter."
Considering the episode was airing on Halloween, Bee asked Obama if he could tell her a "spooky story about what happens when young people don't vote."
This was when Obama laid the acerbic line: "Donald Trump could be president."
The interview is the latest in a long line of campaign interviews for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. In the weeks prior, he read Mean Tweets on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Show with Steven Colbert.
Among the jokes, Obama said: "Look, Sam, the reason I'm here is not just to celebrate Halloween with you, but it's actually because I want to let first-time voters know why it's so important to vote. This probably the most important election of our lifetimes. The choices could not be clearer."
You can watch the full interview below.
The US election will take place on 9 November.
