Current Google Insights trends: Dia do amigo, Lindsay Lohan, 'Inception'

Dia do amigo, or "International Friendship Day" in English, is the search term with the most significant growth worldwide in the last seven days on July 26.

The majority of searches for "dia do amigo" hail from Brazil where International Friendship Day was traditionally celebrated on April 18. Recently however, many people in Brazil have started to celebrate the day on July 20 - the same date as the more internationally-celebrated "Friend's Day."

The word "cricinfo," a cricket information website located at www.cricinfo.com, is in the charts in second place.

American actress Lindsay Lohan is a popular search term on Google again this week. Lohan began her jail sentence on July 20 after she was caught violating the terms of her probation.

Vietnamese news website dantri.com is in fourth place followed by the name of science fiction thriller " Inception."

In sixth place is the name of the largest European job search website www.infojobs.com ("infojobs"), while German movie and video streaming site kino.to measures up in seventh place.
