The ATP World Tour Finals come to London once again as the eight best male tennis players battle it out at the O2 Arena to claim the final big trophy of the year.

While Andy Murray will have one eye on Great Britain’s Davis Cup tie later this month, the British No 1 will want to ensure that he’s at his best at the Finals given the hefty tour rankings and prize money on offer this week.

Murray also has the added incentive of knowing that victory in London will secure his place as World No 2 at the end of the year, although Swiss legend Roger Federer can still have a major say in that battle as he is also in action in London this week.

Of course, the heavy favourite will be Novak Djokovic as the World No 1 comes into a tournament that he has won for the past three years off the back of a resounding victory at the Paris Masters – a victory that gave him his sixth ATP Masters 1000 title this year.

Djokovic and Federer will face off in the round-robin fixtures along with Tomas Berdych and Kei Nishikori after the four were drawn in the Stan Smith group, while Murray has been placed with David Ferrer, Stan Wawrinka and Rafael Nadal.

The top-two will go through to the semi-finals on Saturday, with the winners emerging to contest Sunday’s final at 6pm.
