Tennis: Chang takes his chance
Michael Chang returned Boris Becker's serve with interest and lobbed the German to distraction to reach the final of the Japan Open in Tokyo. Chang, who has collected five of his 15 career titles in Asia, won 7-6,
6-2 in just under two hours and will meet Pete Sampras in the final. He took only 47 minutes to overwhelm Sweden's Henrik Holm 6-2, 6-1 in his semi-final. 'Whenever you are able to beat Boris, it's a good win anywhere, any time on any surface,' Chang said. Becker struggled to hold his serve from the outset and lost his confidence at the net.
