LEIGH, threatened with losing their Hilton Park ground, have launched a public appeal for the extra pounds 350,000 they may need to meet the asking price to buy it back from a former director.

THE Varsity match, staged for several years at Headingley, is to move this year. Oxford and Cambridge will meet at the National Sports Centre at Crystal Palace on 9 March.
