Sport in Short: Cricket
DENNIS LILLEE, the former Australian Test bowler, has been brought out of retirement - to face the West Indies in their Australian tour opener on 2 November. Lillee, 42, Australia's highest Test wicket-taker with 355 victims, is one of two guest players named in an Australian Cricket Board Chairman's XI. They will face the tourists in a one-day match at Caversham, north of Perth. Also being brought out of mothballs is the off-spinner Bruce Yardley.
