Former England international Johnny Williams has died at the age of 77.
Williams, who won three caps for his country between 1955 and 1956, passed away today after a long battle against Alzheimer's, for which he had been receiving treatment at the Harts Leap Hospital in Sandhurst.
The former Old Millhillians scrum-half was a member of the 1954-1955 British Lions squad which toured South Africa and Rhodesia (Zimbabwe). Williams made eight appearances during the tour, scoring five tries.
