Bradford Bulls are reviving their interest in two out-of-the-city grounds after losing patience with constant delays to the plans for an pounds 80m Superdome at Odsal. Bradford Council recently announced that the redevelopment had been put back two years.

David Hulme, the former Widnes and Great Britain Test player, is a target for the Super League newcomers, Salford Reds. Salford have opened negotiations with Hulme, who had a spell at Leeds last season but is now a free agent.

St Helens have arranged a pre-season friendly against Leeds at Knowlsley Road on Friday, 24 January to kick off at 7.30.
