Racing: Wiorno win
THIERRY JARNET extended his lead in the French jockeys' championship with a double on the Andre Fabre-trained pair Wiorno and Dajraan at Longchamp yesterday. Wiorno foiled the Tommy Stack-trained, Cash Asmussen-ridden Runyon by half a length in the Prix La Coupe. Henry Candy's Fair Average was sixth. John Gosden's Landowner, unsuited by the soft ground, finished sixth to Dajraan in the Prix Hubert de Chaudenay.
