Leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed finished with career-best figures of 7 for 56 yesterday and Waqar Younis recorded his 200th test wicket - at 24, the youngest-ever bowler to achieve the feat - as Pakistan wrapped up a 161-run victory over New Zealand in the one-off Test at Lancaster Park.

Pakistan took just 67 minutes to claim the final three wickets after New Zealand resumed at 158 for seven, needing an further 199 runs to pull off an unlikely victory.The teams now head for Dunedin for the first one- day international in a four-match series.
