From Margaret G Ratcliffe
Sir: Mr Terry Wynn, MEP, (Letters, 16 February) suggests the Rugby Football Union will be embarrassed by the latest clear manifestations of payments to players in their corporate hospitality-inspired game.
Sadly, an organisation so deeply steeped in hypocrisy will simply ignore, as ever, any evidence which conflicts with its entrenched practices. Even more sadly, it will continue to be supported by big business, the Government and the Royal family. They complement each other beautifully.
Yours faithfully,
M G RATCLIFFE,
Leeds
