A video of Bayern Munich player Klose sending a shot on goal over the cross bar has gone viral on YouTube, attracting over one-and-a-half million views in just two days.

The Polish-born Klose has not had the best of seasons in the German Bundesliga, scoring just one goal out of 23 shots in 20 games, according to ESPN stats.

His latest miss and the subject of the viral video occurred in Bayern Munich's final game of the season on Saturday, May 14, against Stuttgart.

The 38-second video shows Arjen Robben skipping past several defenders in Stuttgart's penalty area before shooting. The ball goes under the keeper's outstretched arm and looks to be headed towards the far post - however, his teammate Klose then steps up and promptly sends the ball vertically over the cross bar to the disbelief of himself and everyone watching.

Despite Klose's efforts, Bayern Munich went on to win the match 2-1.

Klose is joint second with fellow German Gerd Müller on the list of all-time top World Cup goal scorers, behind Brazilian Ronaldo.

The video, titled " Miroslav Klose Unbelievable Miss Bundesliga 5/14/11," was uploaded to YouTube on May 14 and as of May 16 had attracted 1.8 million views.
