With the compacted PGA Tour schedule, the players have arrived at Pebble Beach for the 119th US Open with the shockwaves of Brooks Koepka‘s victory last month still lingering on the Californian coast.

Koepka, the defending champion, is hunting for a hat-trick of US Open titles and quite rightly enters as one of the favourites this week.

After a disappointing run at this year’s majors so far, Rory McIlroy finished with a stunning 61 at the Canadian Open last week to clinch his second victory of the season and put himself back in pole position to claim a second US Open title.

McIlroy’s compatriot, Graeme McDowell, was the last man to win the US Open at Pebble in 2010 when the Northern Irishman claimed his sole major and comes in on good form have secured his position in the Open Championship field at Royal Portrush – his hometown course – with a top-10 finish last week.

Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth are also amongst the favourites with the marvelled course sporting treacherous rough in sync with the major renowned for being golf’s most punishing. Here’s everything you need to know about the tournament:

When is it and what time will it start?

The tournament begins this Thursday 13 June with the first group teeing off at 14:45 UK time.

How can I watch it on TV?

Each day of the tournament is being broadcast live on Sky Sports Golf and Sky Sports Main Event.

Are tickets still available?

Tickets are no longer available to buy direct from the USGA, however, tickets are still available on the secondary markets.

Tickets to watch the practice rounds are available on site on the day.
