Gareth Ellis will throw his hat into the ring for the England captaincy, even though the 31-year-old fears he may be considered by coach Steve McNamara to be too old.
The Wests Tigers second-rower said: "Pulling on an England jersey is one of the proudest moments I've had. But I'm probably not going to be around for too many years."
