Sir Chris Hoy visited his the velodrome named after him yesterday but has yet to decide whether he will be back to represent Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in two years' time.

Hoy will join a number of the British squad in Perth next month for a winter training camp and will return to competition in the new year – although he will not ride in February's world championships in Minsk

He has resolved not to compete at the Rio Olympics, but the lure of a home games is strong. "To have a home Commonwealth Games on the back of a home Olympic Games – not many riders have that chance, so I'm not lacking motivation," he said.
