Zlatan Ibrahimovic failed to confirm he was moving to Manchester United at an event on Tuesday afternoon, despite promising to drop "a bomb" in the build-up to it.

The striker, who is understood to have agreed personal terms over a move to Old Trafford, was unveiling a new clothing range in Paris.

It was speculated he might use the opportunity to announce his next move having run down his contract at PSG, however when questioned by a reporter he gave little away.

"There is no confirmation. There is no saying yes, so you will have to have patience," he said.

Ibrahimovic appeared to be revelling in the interest his future is generating, suggesting that he will allow it to continue for a while longer.

"I want you to keep wondering where I will go, keep making stories, because I enjoy while the stories go out. When I feel tired I will let you know where my next destination is."

Explaining his decision to leave PSG, the 34-year-old said: "I think you come to a moment when you feel that there is nothing more to do.

"So what I left behind me, mission completed. There is nothing more to do.

"I did my story. This story will live forever and I go seek another challenge."

Ibrahimovic is taking part in Euro 2016 with Sweden with the tournament kicking off on Friday
