Manchester United have rejected a £3.5m bid from Fenerbahce for winger Nani, as they hold out for £6m for the Portuguese outcast, according to reports.

Nani spent last season on loan at Sporting Lisbon, but failed to secure a permanent move back to his former club.

As reported in the Daily Star, unless Nani's valuation for £6m is met, the 28-year-old will have to return to the Premier League club and go on their pre-season tour of United States.

Nani has agreed personal terms with the Turkish club, and United await a higher bid.

Meanwhile, United manager Louis van Gaal is relaxed about the lack of incoming players at Old Trafford this summer.

Dutch forward Memphis Depay has been the only arrival at the club this summer, when he was brought in last month for £25million.

United have been linked to a slew of players during the transfer window but none are yet to materialise.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the United boss and the club's hierarchy are 'comfortable' with their progress in the market.
