Who is the current Premier League top scorer

The race for the Premier League golden boot is likely to go down to the wire with a number of forwards gunning for personal glory.

Harry Kane, who won successive golden boots between 2015-2017, was among the contenders but is now expected to miss the rest of the season with a significant lateral ligament injury to his left ankle.

There is currently a two-way lead for the tie, with Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah level on 19 goals.

Hot on their heels is Sadio Mane, with 18 goals, while City’s Raheem Sterling and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are one behind, on 17.

And Chelsea’s Eden Hazard cannot be completely ruled out. With four matches remaining the Belgian is three goals behind the leaders, on 16.
