Arsenal’s impressive away victory against last year’s Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund caps 15 undefeated away games, but to get all the points at Old Trafford on Sunday, the Gunners know they shouldn’t rely on history.

United have taken their time to adjust to David Moyes’ revolution, trailing eight points behind the Premier League leaders, but they have succeeded at rediscovering their rhythm as they are undefeated since September.

Rejuvenated Wayne Rooney fueled the passions yesterday by claiming he was not too sure about Arsenal’s title chances, but he will have to speak with his feet on Sunday as Arsene Wenger’s side will be further boosted by the possible returns of Theo Walcott and Mathieu Flamini.

The ex-Everton manager will undoubtedly look for ways to keep on-fire Aaron Ramsey and company quiet on the day, and the likely return of Michael Carrick and Tom Cleverly may help, while Wenger will be hoping a repeat of his team’s organised performances against Dortmund and Liverpool.
