Ole Gunnar Solskjaer previews Manchester United's Champions League clash with PSG

The first meeting in the competition between two giants of their respective nations will be an intriguing one when PSG face Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United.

Yet to lose since parting ways with Jose Mourinho, United are a team transformed under their caretaker manager. Paul Pogba’s upturn in form continued with a brace as United swept Premier League strugglers Fulham aside on Saturday.

PSG have experienced a relative rough patch over the last week, including a defeat to Lyon and an extra time win against third-tier side Villefranche before a 1-0 victory against Bordeaux. The French are without Neymar (broken metatarsal), full-back Thomas Meunier (concussion) and remain unsure about Edinson Cavani’s availability after he was forced off with a thigh issue over the weekend.
