The England international is in need of surgery on a hairline fracture in his left leg that he suffered during pre-season training. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger originally hoped that Wilshere would be back around this time, but revealed last week that Wilshere had suffered a further complication.
The Arsenal midfielder, who has not played more than 25 Premier League matches in a season since 2010-11, found little sympathy for his plight.
