We've got the views of lifelong supporter Liz Goda.

But how was it for you? Comment at the bottom of this article and have your say on your team's season.

Who has been your best player this season?

Cristiano Ronaldo – has concentrated more on being a team player than “twinkle toes” act.

Who would you be glad to see the back of?

Possibly Louis Saha but then he comes up with an important goal!

What was your best performance?

Barcelona – they didn’t give up, and took on board the sign the fans displayed – “Believe”.

And the worst?

Not the worst, but certainly the hardest, was the Manchester derby in February.

Who have been your toughest opponents?

Manchester City result-wise, plus epic battles with Arsenal and Chelsea as ever.

Best player faced?

Leo Messi – masterful displays in both legs.

Funniest/most bizarre moment of the season?

The game against Chelsea after Mourinho left, with all of Old Trafford appreciating a good manager.

Your perfect, but realistic signing?

Would like to say Kaka from Milan but that might make us too heavy in midfield.

Any reasons to be cheerful going into next season?

Sir Alex has been building a good squad for next season – youth and experience combining well.

Reasons to be gloomy?

Much as we love them, “Fergie’s Fledglings” will be starting to play less often.

Who will you support in Euro 2008?

No particular team. I will view as a neutral and just enjoy the football.

Overall assessment of your manager?

Sir Alex still amazes me with his passion, his knowledge of the game and desire to win. What he has you cannot learn.

And overall assessment of your team?

Couldn’t really ask much more from them. However, it was a shame when they occasionally lost focus and discipline towards the end of the campaign.

Marks out of 10?
