Arsenal supporters and manager Arsene Wenger were furious with referee Mike Dean after his performance during the defeat to Chelsea at the weekend.
Dean sent off Gabriel Paulista for kicking out at Diego Costa, the Chelsea striker only getting a yellow card despite lashing out at Laurent Koscielny, and also Santi Cazorla for picking up two bookings during the 2-0 defeat.
After the match Wenger said he "wouldn't like to be Mike Dean tonight" and that a referee should know that an opponent reacting to Costa has been "well provoked".

Arsenal fans were furious with the decision to send off the Brazilian centre-back and have now set up a petition against Dean, as they believe he is a biased referee - he is even said to have celebrated a Spurs goal scored at the Emirates in 2012.
The petition asks the Football Association to 'prevent Mike Dean from refereeing another Arsenal game'.
Set up in the aftermath of the game, the hugely popular petition has already reach 49,000 signatures at the time of writing.
It reads: "After many poor decisions that go against Arsenal when Mike Dean is refereeing the game, it is time that we get an inquiry to his ability to referee Arsenal games. Major incidents have occurred in recent and past games that show he is inept at refereeing at this level now.
"The recent events at Chelsea V Arsenal (19/09/15) highlight this where two Arsenal players were dismissed while Diego Costa the opposition player made 4 straight red card incidents and was show one yellow card only.
"Also the incident where Mike Dean celebrated for the opposition, when they scored a goal, this was in the Arsenal V Tottenham Hotspur fixture (26/02/2012) video attached via link: https://youtu.be/3SPb8CYF4o4"
