Sadio Mane gave Liverpool the lead against Wolves after 17 minutes at Anfield to take the lead in the Premier League title race on the final day of the season.

Desperately needing a win against Nuno Espirito Santo’s to take advantage of any possible Manchester City mistake, it was Trent Alexander-Arnold again who turned playmaker down the right wing.

The 20-year-old collected Jordan Henderson’s pass, darted to the byline before fizzing a low cross towards the six-yard box.

After escaping the Wolves’ defenders last-ditch attempts to clear, the ball then fell to Mane at the back post who slotted in with ease past Rui Patricio.

The goal – albeit temporarily – puts Liverpool to the top of the table with City drawing at Brighton. Check out the goal below:
