Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest prediction: How will FA Cup match play out today?
Frank Lampard will make changes with a number of youngsters set for opportunities
Chelsea face Championship side Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup third round in hope of snapping a dreadful run of home form.
The Blues have lost their last two home matches, but Frank Lampard will likely still rotate his squad after a tricky festive period.
Forest, pushing for promotion this term, are primed to capitalise and pull off an upset.
Lampard won the competition four times as a player though, most recently in 2012, and will be eager to advance despite managing his squad intelligently.
Here is our prediction for the game.

Prediction
Chelsea will be much changed with Frank Lampard showing a clear desire to sprinkle more youth in his side, though he may hand Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud a chance to put themselves in the shop window. Forest will be confident after a solid first half of the season and will likely have chances given the turnover at the back for the Blues. But we'll go with the extra firepower with the hosts to prevail.
Chelsea 3-2 Nottingham Forest
Odds
Chelsea: 2/11
Draw: 11/2
Nottingham Forest: 11/1
