Australia became the 31st team to qualify for the World Cup this summer after Mile Jedinak’s hat-trick against Honduras saw the Socceroos book their tickets to Russia next summer.

That leaves just the one spot remaining which will go either New Zealand or Peru when the two face off in Lima on Thursday morning, with the scores level at 0-0 after the first leg.

Following that, all eyes turn to 1st December when the 32 finalists will discover the fate that awaits them next summer as the group stages are drawn.

There will be some big names missing from that draw however, with the likes of Italy and Chile missing out – the former for the first time in 60 years.

Two countries will be making their debuts in the competition with Iceland and Panama both appearing in the finals for the first time, alongside veterans like Germany and Brazil.

Therefore there may be little you about smaller nations such as these, so scroll through the gallery at the top of the page to see The Independent’s complete guide to all 31 of the 32 countries already qualified for next summer’s finals.
