England have switched the kick-off time for their friendly against Jamaica to accommodate television coverage of the match and the Derby.

The Wembley game on 3 June is England's last before the World Cup begins, but rather than it starting at 3pm, kick-off has been brought forward to 2pm.

This will allow BBC1 to screen the match and the Derby from Epsom, which is due off at 4.20pm.

An FA spokesman said: "We have worked hard with the BBC and Epsom to accommodate both of these prestigious sporting events, and consulted with Sven Goran Eriksson, the Jamaican Football Federation and the police to reach a sensible compromise."

He added: "We are delighted to have found a solution for all parties."
