Paul Ince was sacked by Blackpool yesterday - much to the delight of protest-planning fans.

It would also appear at least one of his previous players was happy to see the back of the former Liverpool and Manchester United midfielder as well.

Chesterfield defender Ian Evatt took to Instagram following the announcement to say he was "delighted" and also make reference to reports that Ince was informed of the decision to remove him by text message.

Alongside a picture of Ince, Evatt posted on his Instagram feed: "Absolutely delighted this arrogant bozz eyed joke of a manager has got the sack!! Sacked from a text message glad he got shown the same respect I got from him #justice."

Ince was removed following a terrible run that had seen the Championship side lose nine of their last 10 games. The decision by owner Owen Oyston also ensured a planned protest by fans ahead of this weekend's match against Doncaster was averted.

There were also concerns over the disciplinary record at the club, with a staggering nine players sent off so far this season. The Seasiders are currently 14th in the league.
