UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw

The Champions League is back and it's time for the real action to begin.

It's the knockout stages and after the pretenders have fallen by the wayside only 16 contenders remain. So which one will prevail?

Real Madrid have won the last three years running and cannot be counted out from a fourth while rivals Barcelona will do anything to end their four-year drought. Bayern Munich can never be ruled out while their own rivals Borussia Dortmund are back to their very best in the Bundesliga. And what of the Premier League where Liverpool and Manchester City are in as good a shape as any team in all of Europe. And who could rule out Manchester United who are yet to taste defeat in any competition since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge.

It promises to be another dramatic round of matches and it all gets back underway this week with United hosting Paris Saint-Germain, Roma taking on Porto, Tottenham welcoming Dortmund and Ajax heading to the Bernabeu to face off against the reigning champions.

We have ranked every team's chances of winning the whole competition taking into account current form as well as their last-16 draw. Check out our comprehensive rankings and the reasoning behind them in the gallery below.
