Jose Mourinho's agent is adamant that the Internazionale coach will not be returning to England at the end of this season.

The former Chelsea boss has been linked with a possible switch to Liverpool or Manchester City for some time but Jorge Mendes claims his client is set to remain in Italy.

Mendes was quoted as saying: "Jose is going nowhere just yet. I think he will stay at Inter Milan for now. He still has three years left on his contract and he is OK in Italy and doing a good job for them.

"He enjoyed the result at Chelsea (Inter's 3-1 aggregate last-16 Champions League win). He was happy with his tactics and he handled himself very well in both matches.

"I think people enjoyed having him back again for a few days and you saw his humour.

"You know Jose loves English football and I think English football loves him - but for now he has no thoughts about leaving Serie A."

Meanwhile, Argentinian striker Diego Milito still believes Inter have the edge in the Serie A title race even after Mourinho's side continued their recent poor form by losing 2-1 to AS Roma at the weekend.

Despite reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League by knocking Chelsea out at the last-16 stage, Inter have stuttered in their quest to clinch a fifth successive Scudetto.

Roma are now just one point behind Inter while AC Milan remain in the hunt for the title, but Milito said: "We are disappointed with this defeat but remain relaxed as we are still top of the table.

"We'll try to win our next games. We should have netted a second goal.

"After we equalised we were doing well, trying to get another, but unfortunately (Luca) Toni's effort came along and it was a huge blow.

"I think a draw would have been a fairer result considering what we did and the fact we hit the woodwork three times. However, this result does not change our season, it's still in our hands."

Elsewhere, Sebastien Frey has cooled reports suggesting he is keen to leave Fiorentina at the end of this season.

The 30-year-old French shot-stopper has been linked with a summer switch to Bayern Munich but insists he has no desire to leave Florence.

He told Stadio: "I don't think I would be the one, because I'm 30 and have played 200 games with the Viola shirt.

"I like it in Florence and I've always been treated as a top player. I still remember what Fiorentina did for me, I feel practically at home here.

"Of course, if an offer comes in, and it's one that neither the club nor I could refuse, I'm not saying I will run off, but I will mull it over.

"Still, this does not change the fact that I have still three years left on my contract and it would be a nice achievement to see it out."
