Mauro Icardi has dedicated his future to Inter Milan and dismissed speculation he will join Juventus.

A report in Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claimed on Friday that he had agreed personal terms with the Serie A champions, who announced on Friday that manager Massimiliano Allegri will leave the club this summer.

But the Argentine has taken to social media with an angry rebuttal, insisting he will stay at the San Siro.

“Seeing as recently the newspapers have reported stories that do not reflect my thoughts or my intentions, I want to inform our fans that I have already told the club several times that I intend to remain at Inter,” Icardi wrote on Instagram.

“So, from now on, there can be no misunderstandings of any kind.

“I understand the media has interest in selling fake stories, but I can do no more than clarify this personally.

“I repeat: I have already told Inter my desire to remain, because Inter is my family. Time will tell who told the truth. Forza Inter, always.”

Icardi’s denial comes with Juventus set to move on from Allegri after five years.

The club have immediately been linked with Antonio Conte, Mauricio Pochettino and Simone Inzaghi as potential successors.
