Manchester United's Group H opponents CFR Cluj and Galatasaray made it a good night for the Premier League club, as Burak Yilmaz's late goal gave the Turkish side a 1-1 draw.

An own-goal from Dany Nounkeu put Cluj in front on 19 minutes, but Yilmaz got on the end of Nordin Amrabat's pass on 77 minutes to earn Galatasaray their first point in the competition.

Chelsea are still one point ahead of third-placed Juventus after the Italians were held to a 1-1 draw against FC Nordsjaelland. Mikkel Beckmann's free-kick just after the break put the Danish champions ahead, but Mirko Vucinic volleyed home with nine minutes remaining.

An own-goal from Jardel led Benfica to a 2-1 Group G defeat at Spartak Moscow, who claimed their first win in this season's competition. Spartak, who lost to Celtic last week, are now just one point shy of the Glaswegians, who meet the Russian team in their final fixture.

Rafael Carioca gave Spartak a 1-0 lead in the third minute after overlapping down the left and receiving a clever pass from Jurado before poking the ball into the net.

Benfica equalsed in the 33rd minute through an unmarked header from Lima at the near post following Eduardo Salvio's swerving cross. It was the Portuguese club's first goal in the competition this season.

Spartak took the lead again two minutes before half-time when the Benfica defender Jardel tried to intercept Yevgeny Makeev's pass to Ari in the box but turned the ball into his own net.

In Group F three teams are level on six points as Valencia beat BATE 3-0 away, with Roberto Soldado scoring a hat-trick, while Thomas Müller scored to give Bayern Munich a 1-0 win in Lille.
