Barcelona teenager Bojan Krkic has pledged his immediate future to the European and Spanish champions, after being linked with a move away from the Camp Nou.

A number of clubs in Spain and elsewhere have been linked with loan moves for the talented 18-year-old, but he insists that he is content to remain with Barca.

Krkic told Sport: “The directors at Barca have told me to remain at the club and for me, that’s the end of it.

“I have a good relationship with coach Pep Guardiola and I have been given the playing time that I deserved.

“The problem is that it is very difficult to break into the first team when three of the best forwards in the world are ahead of you.

“But the important thing is that I have enjoyed every minute that I have played.”

Valencia defender Raul Albiol is on the wish-list of Real Madrid according to the Spain international’s agent.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Mestalla for a fee of around 15million euros, with Real keen despite having missed out on Albiol’s team-mate David Villa.

Albiol’s agent, Manuel Garcia Quilon, told Cadena SER: “No player at Valencia is untransferable. The only difference between one player from the other is the price.

“Albiol is ambitious and, therefore, he will do whatever is best for him, so long as there’s an agreement between all parties.”

Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain is determined to remain at the Bernabeu and prove his worth, despite the club’s record summer spending spree.

The 21-year-old Argentinian has scored 32 goals in 92 league and European appearances for Real to date and is not phased by the arrivals of the likes of Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Higuain told TyC Sports: “The arrival of high-quality players makes me be more motivated.

“Last season was my best since I arrived here and I am very happy.

“The coach showed confidence in me and I managed to prove my best position is at forward and that I work well there.”
