Ole Gunnar Solskjaer targeting trophies after being named Manchester United manager

Barcelona thrashed Manchester United at the Camp Nou to stroll into the Champions League semi-finals.

Lionel Messi opened the scoring in sensational fashion when he poached the ball from Ashley Young in the first-half. Evading both Fred and Phil Jones, he unleashed an inch-perfect low shot which beat David de Gea and skidded into the corner of the net.

The Argentine was at it again moments later, this time receiving a large slice of good fortune when his decidedly tamer effort squirmed under De Gea’s body.

Barca dominated throughout, with Philippe Coutinho adding insult to injury for United with a wonderful long range effort.

Barcelona will now play either Liverpool or Porto for a place in the Champions League 2018/19 final. Here are our player ratings.
