Manuel Neuer might not be the best goalkeeper in the world. The Bayern keeper made a phenomenal save to deny Theo Walcott from six yards in the first half when he seemed certain to score but his howler gifted Arsenal a late winner.
Bayern might need to change their driver
The Bayern team coach reversed into a parked car on its way to Emirates Stadium. Pep Guardiola even got off to inspect the damage but thankfully no one was hurt.
Bellerin given the run around
Hector Bellerin is probably not looking forward to the return fixture. Bellerin is having an impressive season but he was given a torrid time by Douglas Costa. Costa produced an outrageous piece of skill to get past him in the first half. The Arsenal right-back will have to do it all again when Arsenal travel to Bayern on November 4.

And there were certainly times when he allowed himself, and Walcott, to drift away. Looked more composed in the second half, stepping forward well to cut out attacks.

Alexis Sanchez needs a rest
Sanchez has played a lot of football and, while he has been excellent in recent weeks, he looked tired. Arsene Wenger decided against leaving him out but the Chile star looks like he could do with a break.
Arsenal have a chance
Arsenal can still reach the knockout stages. The Gunners have a chance of progressing to the last 16 but they still face an uphill task after Olympiakos beat Dinamo Zagreb in the other game in Group F. Arsenal and Dinamo Zagreb are on three points, while Bayern and Olympiakos have six points after three games.
