Alexis Sanchez has scored nine goals in last five games in all competitions for club and country, and the Arsenal forward has revealed the secret to his scorching run of form - his mum has told him "to shoot at goal more often".
Sanchez uncharacteristically went nine goals without scoring at the start of the season after his heroics for Chile at the Copa America, but has revealed that a pep talk from his "coach" changed all of that.
"My mum is always my coach," the 26-year-old said. "She phones me and tells me to shoot at goal more often."
The former Barcelona player Sanchez also moved to allay any fears at Arsenal that he would be keen on a return to Spain amid speculation over a switch to Real Madrid.

He slid in often, but he was always in control and invariably knew what he was doing. After his performances against City and United last season this is further proof he is a big game player.
