Chris Boardman and Graeme Obree have both been given automatic places in the World Track Championships at Manchester Velodrome this year. As hosts, Britain are assured of having one rider in each discipline at the event, which runs from 28 August to 1 September, with other places being awarded on the basis of World Cup performances.
