Bjorn is three strokes clear

Thomas Bjorn, a 25-year-old Dane playing his first season on the PGA European Tour, shot a second round 68 for a 135 total to lead by three shots at the Volvo Scandinavian Masters in Kungsbacka, Sweden, yesterday.

Bjorn led Spaniard Santiago Luna by three and England's Russell Claydon by four. Colin Montgomerie stumbled to a 76 for a 145 total, while Ian Woosnam (79) and Bernhard Langer (74) only made the cut on the last qualifying score of 148.
